Week 12

Lecture Reflection

Through this week's lecture, I get some idea of abandoned architectures. I suddenly aware that before this lecture, I have paid much attention on just to make the outside of my building looks like it has been damaged, such as ti damage the walls and roof of the building, I got really confused about how to make it better, but from now,  I will focus on more detailed things, such like the inside of the architecture and the texture things, I decide to build some stuff inside such like damaged chairs tables and rotten food, etc. Otherwise, I am going to pay some attention on to construct the environment outside my architecture to add the feelings of a abandoned 100 years city. I am thinking abandoned cars around maybe.

Week 07(experiment 2)

Lecture reflection

This week's lecture, there is a brief of the experiment 2, 'Life after people'. After we are gone, what is the left, what would happen to our city, our body or staffs people leave. In experiment 2,  we are going to create architecture model to express the idea of 'life after people'. What I am thinking now is a picture which is a mix of dystopia and utopia,  with animals, grass on abandoned city blocks, trees, high quality and magnificent but damaged buddings, etc.

Lecture reflection

In this week's lecture, we talked about the picturesque, including thinking about the terrain's vegetation, such as trees and gras; division of ground views, etc. I have considered new texture style to my island and I have also learned to use the fraps to take high resolution screenshots.

Week 02

5 Different landscape images

 forest; stone aside the road; not too much lighting, this terrain slopes gently.(basis of my second island)

country of origin: inner Mongolia landscape  full of sand and big wind not to much lighting, the sky is getting dark, some sort of ancient architecture lies dimly at a distance.

High mountains lie on the green ground,  water falls at distance, light is bright.(basis of my own island)

Some sort of terraced fields, green and full of sun light, mountains at distance.

Mountains aside, flat water, wooden bridge, sky is blue and bright.

f,  reflection on this week one's lecture and make a unique observation regarding its content as it relates to your own work;

During the first lecture, there was a introduction of this course,including the assignments in this course and  many past year student's work have been show to us.  We are going to mainly use the cry engine software to do some work, the first assignment is to crate my own island. I am going to try my best on doing this course.
